Spearmint Milkshake

Does not get more natural than this. For spearmint's health benefits read more here.

For two people

Two cups of low-fat milk
5 fresh spearmint leaves
Half a banana (optional)
One tablespoon of unprocessed honey or stevia equiv.
A little icecream (optional)

As shown in the above pictures, add about five fresh spearmint leaves into blender with two cups or glasses of milk and blend for about one minute.

Strain out the small spearmint leaf fragments and put back into blender. [Note : Spearmint leaves can be eaten raw or cooked. The main thing is not to overdose on them. If your blender is 'super efficient', there is no need to use a strainer].

Add honey and banana and mix in blender again until smooth consistency.

Add in a little icecream (optional) and blend a few seconds.

It's a lot healthier than you would buy in the shops. Also the taste is sensational! You will not believe how good it is until you try it for yourself.

Strawberry Milkshake

Another healthy and very easy to make milkshake. Just add the following into a blender and mix for a one or two minutes until fully blended.

For two people

Two glasses of low-fat milk
Two or three garden fresh strawberries
A little icecream (optional)

No need to add honey or stevia to sweeten the taste. Strawberries should be sweet enough by themselves. If you add icecream this will contain sugar.

Banana Milkshake

Add the following into a blender and mix for a one or two minutes until fully blended.

For two people

Two glasses of low-fat milk
One banana
1 tablespoon honey
A little icecream (optional)

Don't overlook overripe bananas as they make a fantastic milkshake. You can buy these cheap from your local supermarket. When the supermarket sells them, buy them and place them into your freezer ready when you feel like a banana milkshake. When they are frozen their skin turns black. This is nothing to worry about! It's normal.
