Healthy Weight Loss Tips through food, exercise and detox diet.

Ok, so you feel a little (or a lot) overweight and you would like to get back into shape and feel better. No doubt you put on those extra pounds slowly over time so don't expect to get rid of them overnight either.

You may know how you put on those extra pounds? Right?

Most people (but not all) will put on extra weight due to the following factors;

  1. Eating on a regular basis fast foods, high in oil and sugar. Foods cooked in oil, like 'fish and chips' or simply cooking most meals with lots of oil. The oil gets soaked up into the food and is comparable to drinking a glass of oil.
  2. Drinking lots of milk or flavored dairy milk products.
  3. Not doing any regular exercise.

It's a combination of doing all the above three things that will load on those extra unwanted pounds.

What is the solution? REVERSE the above three points and you will be well on your way to healthy weight loss.

  1. Eat foods that are not cooked with a large amount of oil. Use a little bit of the good variety of oil when cooking. ie olive oil. Eat lots of vegetables and salads in addition to your main meal. If the vegetables taste too bland, after steaming pour some unprocessed honey over them. Also, learn to cook with herbs and spices.   2. Instead of drinking milk switch to rice milk or drink more water or even better yet, start juicing fruit and vegetables.

Something as simple as walking along the beach or bush or riding a bike will make you feel good and have you asking yourself why you did not start earlier.
